Information on Wooden Toy Set?

Hello Friends!

    I hope you all are well! :)
    I had these toys stored away from my grandparents so that when I had children, they could play with them. I forgot I had them until I found them in a box, and once I found them, I took them out to let my children play with them. They LOVE this little toy town! While playing with them today, I noticed these buildings look very Swedish.... One looks like a Swedish Church, another like a building in Stockholm, and the smaller ones resemble little stugas to me..... I realized I may be letting my children play with some very special old toys here!

     I was wondering if anyone recognizes these, or would have any information on them? My family is from Nederkalix area, and they visited fairly often after they immigrated to America. I have no idea if these were local toys, but I'm pretty positive they are Swedish. My guess would be they were brought home with my grandfather when he was a boy, or possibly sent as a gift. He was born in 1927, so these little houses could be old. They look very hand made, as I can see where some were glued, and are made out of a very lightweight wood. The windows and doors seem to stamped on.

    I know this is an odd question, but I'd like to know if anyone recognizes them as something local. My children love playing with them, but if they are from my grandparent's homeland, I'd rather they didn't play with them, so I can pass them down in the family in good condition.

     Jag hoppas att ni alla är bra! :)
     Jag hade dessa leksaker förvaras åtskilt från mina morföräldrar, så att när jag fick barn, kan de leka med dem. Jag glömde jag hade dem tills jag hittade dem i en låda, och när jag hittade dem, tog jag ut dem för att låta mina barn leka med dem. De älskar denna lilla leksak stan! Samtidigt som du spelar med dem i dag, märkte jag dessa byggnader ser väldigt Svenskt .... En ser ut som en svenska kyrkan, en annan som en byggnad i Stockholm, och de mindre liknar små stugas till mig ..... Jag insåg att jag kan låta mina barn leka med några mycket speciella gamla leksaker här!

      Jag undrar om någon känner igen dessa, eller skulle ha någon information om dem? Min familj är från Nederkalix området, och de besökte ganska ofta efter att de immigrerade till Amerika. Jag har ingen aning om dessa var lokala leksaker, men jag är ganska positivt att de är svenska. Min gissning skulle vara att de fördes hem med min farfar när han var en pojke eller möjligen skickas som en gåva. Han föddes i 1927, så dessa små husen kan vara gammal. De ser mycket handgjorda, som jag kan se där några limmades och är gjord av ett mycket lätt trä. Fönster och dörrar tycks stämplat på.

     Jag vet att detta är en udda fråga, men jag skulle vilja veta om någon känner igen dem som något lokalt. Mina barn älskar att leka med dem, men om de är från min morfar hemland, skulle jag hellre de inte leka med dem, så jag kan passera dem i familjen i gott skick.

Hello Dani (sorry for the poor English),

do they belong to a wooden railway, to me it seems so. The original wooden railway is Brio (whose factory in Sweden recently has closed), but there are several manucturers world wide, even in the US I think. Some of the stuff are from these companies are made for the big german market and the even bigger US market. Could these things be made for the German marked (the church probably looks more Swedish, but the houses could also be German in their style)?

   Sorry for the late reply, I've been on vacation and couldn't check the forum until now. As always, I appreciate the reply! :)
    I have no idea if they have ever belonged to a wooden rail set. My son is an avid train boy, and we have several different wooden sets and they all seem to be made of a harder wood. These are of very soft wood, most likely pine? But if they are old, maybe the company used to use a more inexpensive wood.
    The only other pieces that I know of for the set are these small wooden "walls" with a stone pattern painted or stamped on them. I didn't include them in the photo. They are about half the height of the small houses.
     I've continued to let the children play with them, because they really enjoy the little set.
